In this tour, I show you major sightseeing spots with some hidden good places mainly in eastern part of Kyoto.
Kyoto became the capital of Japan in 794. It was established by the Emperor Kammu. Kyoto flourished as the center of Japan for over 1, 100 years. There are many old temples and shrines including seventeen UNESCO world cultural heritage sites. In the historical amusement quarters such as Gion and Miyagawa-cho, you may also see Kimono-clad female entertainers called "Geiko" and "Maiko". Let's enjoy together and discover the real Kyoto with me!!
ITINERARY
In this tour, we walk around mainly "Eastern" part of Kyoto.
-Pick you up at your hotel or meet at the Kyoto Tourist Information Center "Kyo-Navi" on the second floor of Kyoto Station Building.
-Fushimi-Inari Shrine
-Sanjusangen-do Temple
-Nishiki Ichiba Market
-Kiyomizudera Temple
-Sannenzaka, Ninenzaka, historical preserved area
-Gion, the biggest amusement quarters of female entertainers

Meeting Point Options: Rail or Bus Station, Hotel, Suggested by Guide: We will meet at your hotel or at the entrance of Kyoto Tourist Information Center called "Kyo-Navi" on the second floor of Kyoto Station Building.
